This position is responsible for all aspects of the sales process, including: prospecting, analyzing needs
and budgets with prospective customers, developing solutions, presenting solutions, closing sales,
scheduling training, conducting product training, and follow-up.
The successful candidate will have 4+ years of proven sales experience selling $10,000+ higher-technology
products or services, have experience with cost/benefit justifications, an ability to work well with all
levels of employees and management, and a strong ability to get decisions.
General PC software (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Windows experience is required. Familiarity
with manufacturing of fabricated sheet metal products or steel service centers is a strong plus. Training in
the Sandler Selling System is a very strong plus.
The ideal candidate will have the above technical and sales skills, a professional manner, excellent telephone
and in-person communication skills, be energetic, hard working, and be comfortable working on several projects/tasks
at the same time. Prior experience in a consulting environment is very helpful.
Industrial Engineers or Manufacturing Engineers with experience on the buying-end of the sales process may
also be considered.
10-20% domestic travel.
